Bob graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985 with a degree in Building Construction. He worked in the residential & commercial construction industry prior to joining his father, Von Smith, P.E. (one of the first licensed home inspectors in Georgetown, Texas) in 1993. In 1998 Bob started Smith Inspection Services, Inc. He has performed over 5500 home inspections during his career, since becoming a licensed home inspector in Austin Texas fifteen years ago. His knowledge, eye for detail, unwavering commitment to his client and personal skills have made him one of Austin’s premier home inspectors. Bob has also been sought after to teach new agents & continuing education classes to realtors to inform them of current changes in the Austin home inspection industry. Bob and his wife, Sherry, work diligently to satisfy all of their clients from the initial phone call until the report is delivered.
